About Us

Boundary Oak Distillery is a distinguished distillery nestled in the picturesque knobs of central Kentucky, surrounded by beautiful woods, waterfalls, and natural limestone springs. This land was destined to host one of Kentucky’s great bourbon distilleries. Prohibition, however, delayed this until Master Distiller Brent Goodin brought the vision to life, inspired by his family's 200-year legacy in Kentucky and deep roots in bourbon history. In 2013, with Brent's dedication and nearly a million-dollar investment, Boundary Oak Distillery began its journey as the first legal liquor production site in Hardin County since prohibition. Our small-batch bourbon, amber, and moonshine blend tradition and craftsmanship, available for tasting at our Radcliff location or online at www.boundaryoak.distilleryspirits.com.

The staff went above and beyond, not only sharing their knowledge of the distillery and its craft, but also helping us locate a reserved bottle of Big Red 1 bourbon--a tribute to the 1st Infantry Division, which my grandfather proudly served in.Their kindness and attention to detail made all the difference. They didn't just find the bottle--they made sure it came with a commemorative medallion, which we gifted to my mom for her birthday. Watching her hold that bottle, knowing its connection to her father's legacy, was a moment we'll never forget.The bourbon itself is a beautiful tribute: aged 2-4 years, with smooth toasted oak, caramel, and toffee notes that linger warmly. But it's the spirit behind it--the perseverance, courage, and tradition--that makes it truly special.Boundary Oak isn't just crafting whiskey. They're preserving stories. And for that, we're incredibly grateful.

You don’t want to miss Boundary Oaks! A small distillery with excellent “taste”. We had a great time tasting and learning about the history behind the distillery and the products. Also appreciated the patriotic themes. Shout out to Linda and Shannon for such a great tasting experience! So good we just about got one of each. The War Eagle and St Michael were our favorites but don’t miss the lavender and the Cinnful 69! Their vodka was an unexpected delight. Straight up was very smooth. Can’t wait to visit again.
