About Us

Boundary Oak Distillery is a distinguished distillery nestled in the picturesque knobs of central Kentucky, surrounded by serene woods, cascading waterfalls, and natural limestone springs. This land, rich in natural beauty and heritage, was destined to become home to one of Kentucky’s great bourbon distilleries. Although Prohibition delayed that destiny, the vision was never lost. It was Master Distiller Brent Goodin—driven by a 200-year family legacy in Kentucky and deep roots in bourbon history—who brought that vision to life.

In 2013, after nearly a million-dollar investment and years of dedication, Brent established Boundary Oak Distillery as the first legal liquor production site in Hardin County since Prohibition. From the beginning, the mission was clear: to craft exceptional spirits that honor tradition while embracing innovation. Every bottle of our small-batch bourbon, amber, and moonshine is a reflection of that mission—made time-honored techniques passed down through generations.

Today, visitors can experience our story firsthand at our Radcliff location, where tours and tastings bring the spirit of Kentucky bourbon to life. Our Services include:

Tours for All Ages: Boundary Oak Distillery welcomes guests of all ages to explore its scenic Kentucky grounds and learn about the art of bourbon-making. The tours offer an educational experience that highlights the distillery’s history, the craftsmanship behind its spirits, and the legacy of the Goodin family. While the tour is open to all, adults aged 21 and over can enjoy tastings of their signature small-batch bourbon, amber, and moonshine.
Guest Appearances: The distillery regularly participates in community events and special engagements, often featuring appearances by founder and master distiller Brent Goodin. Offering a chance for the public to connect with the people behind the brand and learn more about Kentucky’s bourbon heritage.

Everyone here very welcoming and friendly. Nice to meet owner and here story how all was started. Nice display room and movie to view. Distill area small. No production since a Sunday. Overall a lot going on to look at everywhere. Nice gift store, mainly liquor tho. Girl who did tastings super friendly and good at her job. Some bourbons give deserved tribute to our military. Pretty bottles for displaying and collecting. They've a lavender and a cinnamon offering, both delish. I'd def come again and recommend
